Simple aftercare habits that help your film look its best for longer.
The first week
Avoid washing the vehicle for the period your installer recommends so the film can settle. Small moisture bubbles can appear early and usually disappear as the film cures.
Washing
- Use the two-bucket method and a pH-neutral shampoo
- Avoid aiming a pressure washer directly at film edges
- Dry with a clean microfibre towel
Things to avoid
Skip harsh solvents, abrasive polishes and automatic brush car washes. Remove bird droppings and insects promptly.
Ongoing care
Regular gentle washing and an occasional inspection of edges will help the film perform as intended. If you notice lifting, contact us so we can take a look.
